ID America Brings Rishiri Ramen to the States by Launching Miraku Boston
i-collab X Inc., a subsidiary of INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT AMERICA INC. (Head office: Boston, Massachusetts, USA; Representative: Miho Owens; hereinafter referred to as ‘IDA’) will commence operations of Rishiri Ramen Miraku from Japan in Boston beginning September 20, 2024, in collaboration with Miraku Boston.
IDA has until now focused mainly on IT research and development, as well as recruiting international talent. From here on forward, IDA will begin operations of a Ramen shop to share a particularly popular and internationally beloved piece of Japanese cuisine.
Boston attracts many students, investors, and entrepreneurs as a city with world-class universities, venture capital firms, and high-tech startups. By opening a ramen shop in this area, we hope to use it as a channel for communication to attract international talent, to connect with local venture capital firms and investors, as well as to increase the name recognition of ID Group. Furthermore, the export of Japanese Culture also aligns with ID Group’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Rishiri Ramen Miraku is a popular ramen shop that has been covered extensively in media. They are known as a Michelin-starred Ramen shop, as well as “Japan’s most difficult to reach shop,” due to their main location being located on Rishiri Island in Hokkaido Prefecture.
Miraku Boston will faithfully reproduce Miraku’s widely loved flavor as the chain’s first international location. Through means such as using only high quality Rishiri seaweed imported from Japan, Miraku Boston will provide high quality Ramen to its customers.
