ID America Initiates Plans to Reduce CO2 Emissions
~Collaboration Research Using Greenhouse Data from Ai Factory~
Our consolidated subsidiary company, INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT AMERICA INC. (“ID America”) has initiated plans to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of ID Holdings beginning in August of 2024. As a part of these plans, our special subsidiary company Ai Factory Inc. (“Ai Factory”) has collaborated with ID America in research regarding the use of greenhouses in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
■Initial Research
Ai Factory has made use of a specialized facility to monitor a variety of variables, including levels of CO2, within a vegetable greenhouse. This caught the attention of ID America, which then analyzed the data for potential use in carbon offsets. The results of this analysis showed that the process of photosynthesis reduced the amount of greenhouse gases within the facility, showing potential for use in carbon offsets.
■Next Steps
This research was conducted with the objective of quantifying Ai Factory’s net CO2 emissions, as well as to assist with setting targets for CO2 reductions. ID America will continue to create and execute plans for reducing the CO2 emissions of ID Group as a whole. Furthermore, ID America will continue to collaborate with Ai Factory to investigate the potential of carbon offsets.
